Hello my name is Hana, I am the Creator behind the Cakes. I love the challenge of creating unique and fun cakes! 

My journey into cake making started just after having my daughter. It’s amazing how my passion for Art and Sculpture, can translate into a career creating beautiful Cakes. Over the years balancing motherhood with my passion for cake making has been met with challenges and many very late nights but I have dedicated so much time to honouring my skills, experimenting and finding the joy in creating new designs. It has been so rewarding!! I love seeing designs come together and seeing the final result. 

I was able to land my dream job as a Cake Decorator and during that time I had such a supportive environment that allowed me to learn and grow my skills even further. I gained invaluable experience and even after the Bakery changed hands and closed its doors, I am so grateful to them for giving me the chance to prove myself. 

Over the years I have taken countless courses, my favourites have been focusing on sculpted cakes with internal armatures and wedding cake techniques. In the world of cake artistry, there is always more to learn and I eagerly anticipate delving into new skills.

While the country’s recent shifts have undoubtedly impacted cake artists, I remain undaunted, as my love for this craft sustains me.

I am now the proud mum to 5 wonderful children and happily married to a supportive partner. Excited for the future and determined to reach my goals, I approach each new Cake order and learning opportunity with enthusiasm. There is so much more to discover in this dynamic field and I cannot wait to continue growing as a cake artist.
